Summary
Under the direction of the Lead Epoxy Lining Technician, the Lining Apprentice will perform tasks involving physical labor for epoxy lining and plumbing projects. May operate a variety of hand and power tools. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, build epoxy liners, clean up rubble, debris, and remove waste materials. May assist other technicians and teams. The Lining Apprentice will also assist with other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Fully stock vans each morning with product and consumables.
- Assist cleaning sewer line in preparation for lining.
- Responsible for assuring lead technician has tools available to him as needed.
- Ability to adapt to various projects and environments.
- Must be proficient in problem solving.
- Responsible for a clean worksite.
- Ensures best safety practices are used.
- Responsible for daily paperwork
- Clean DMV record.
- Construction experience a plus.
- Able to work cohesively with other technicians and office staff.

Physical Requirements
- This role routinely uses construction equipment such as heavy machinery, hand and power tools.
- While performing duties of the job the employee may work aloft, climb, bend, pull, reach overhead, stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
Environmental Conditions
- Travel to a variety of worksites every day including projects in other cities and states.
- May work in varying temperatures; both inside and outside, including inclement weather, heat, humidity, cold, and dampness.
- May work in areas with exposure to moderate/high noise levels.
- May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles including dust.
- May be required to work in confined spaces or from high heights.
The pay range for this role is:
18 - 22 USD per hour(San Diego)
