This role offers the opportunity to own the data foundation behind critical client-facing initiatives, including reporting, analytics, and performance measurement.
You will transform complex healthcare data into reliable insights that support renewals, business reviews, and strategic growth opportunities.
As a key analytical partner, you will ensure external-facing narratives are backed by accurate, scalable, and trusted data.
You will build automation systems that streamline reporting processes and enable teams to operate more efficiently.
Working across analytics, engineering, sales, and customer success teams, you will influence how data drives business decisions.
This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced data professional who combines technical expertise, business understanding, and strong client communication skills.
In this role, you will own the systems, reporting infrastructure, and analytical frameworks that support client relationships and business growth. You will combine data engineering, analytics, automation, and stakeholder partnership to ensure teams have accurate insights and scalable reporting capabilities.
- Own the automation of client Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), building AI-enabled systems and workflows that streamline preparation, reporting, insights, and commentary generation.
- Automate recurring weekly and monthly client reporting processes in partnership with Data Engineering to reduce manual effort and improve scalability.
- Lead the client-facing data function for RFPs by providing accurate analysis, benchmarks, and insights that support sales and proposal teams.
- Develop and maintain a standardized framework for client SLAs, ensuring commitments are measurable, validated, and aligned with business capabilities.
- Build and manage the core metrics framework used across Sales, Customer Success, reporting, and client communications to ensure consistency and trust.
- Serve as a data consultant supporting external business narratives by validating metrics, improving analytical storytelling, and ensuring insights are defensible.
- Partner with clinical intelligence teams to understand healthcare outcomes and ROI models, representing analytical insights confidently with clients and prospects.
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success leaders as an embedded analytical partner, understanding client needs and translating business questions into data solutions.
- Present insights directly to clients and partners through QBRs, strategic discussions, and sales conversations when needed.
- Build scalable analytics infrastructure using modern data practices, automation tools, and AI-powered workflows to increase team efficiency.
- Partner across analytics, engineering, and business teams to improve data quality, reporting capabilities, and decision-making processes.
- Champion AI-native approaches to analytics by leveraging modern tools to automate workflows and expand analytical impact.
The ideal candidate is an experienced analytics leader who combines technical depth, healthcare industry expertise, and strong client-facing communication skills. You have experience building reporting systems, translating complex data into business value, and using automation and AI to scale analytical operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical discipline such as Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in data science, analytics, business intelligence, or related fields, including significant experience with external or client-facing reporting.
- 4+ years of experience leading teams or managing analytical functions.
- Previous experience in an equivalent role within health tech, healthcare analytics, or a related industry with complex clinical, operational, and commercial reporting requirements.
- Experience supporting RFP processes with data analysis, ideally within healthcare, Medicaid, payer, or healthcare services environments.
- Experience creating or managing SLA frameworks and defining measurable client commitments.
- Ability to understand and communicate clinical ROI and healthcare outcomes concepts at a business level.
- Experience partnering directly with Sales and Customer Success teams as a strategic analytical advisor.
- Expert-level SQL skills and working knowledge of Python.
- Strong production experience with dbt, including data modeling, testing, documentation, metric definitions, and semantic layer development.
- Experience enabling AI-assisted analytics through semantic modeling, BI context engineering, and reliable data documentation.
- Familiarity with AI-native analytical and developer tools such as Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, Hex AI Agent, Omni AI, or similar platforms.
- Experience automating recurring reporting deliverables such as QBRs, dashboards, presentations, or client-facing analytics workflows.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
