Manager, GTM Applications

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, GTM Applications based in the United States.

The Manager, GTM Applications will play a key role in accelerating business growth by leading the development and optimization of enterprise sales and partner technology solutions.
This position combines engineering leadership, Salesforce expertise, and strategic business partnership to improve go-to-market operations.
You will lead a distributed team responsible for designing, building, and delivering scalable applications that support revenue teams.
The role offers the opportunity to influence Salesforce architecture, streamline critical business processes, and leverage AI-driven tools to enhance execution.

Accountabilities:

The Manager, GTM Applications is responsible for leading Salesforce application delivery, managing engineering teams, and driving improvements across revenue-focused technology platforms. This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, leadership ability, and business acumen to deliver scalable solutions that improve seller and partner experiences.

  • Lead and mentor a distributed team of Salesforce developers, QA professionals, and technical resources while fostering growth and collaboration.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and cross-functional technology teams to deliver high-impact sales, partner, and commerce solutions.
  • Act as a strategic advisor by managing technology roadmaps, challenging requirements when needed, and recommending scalable solutions.
  • Conduct research, analyze business trends, and validate assumptions to support informed product and technology decisions.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate requirements gathering, user story creation, solution design, and delivery processes.
  • Own end-to-end functional delivery, including process definition, requirements analysis, fit/gap assessments, and impact evaluation across the Quote-to-Cash ecosystem.
  • Manage project planning activities, including resource allocation, timelines, work plans, and delivery estimates.
  • Drive Agile execution through sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and collaborative design sessions.
  • Provide technical guidance through code reviews, troubleshooting, testing support, and architecture discussions.
  • Maintain knowledge of Salesforce innovations, platform updates, and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership across Salesforce architecture, development, integrations, and data migration initiatives.
  • Design and support solutions using Salesforce technologies including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and configuration tools.
  • Build prototypes and present solution options, recommendations, and business value to key stakeholders.
  • Manage team budgets, consulting resources, and development capacity while identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Track delivery metrics and collaborate with leadership to improve execution velocity and operational effectiveness.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced Salesforce and technology leader with a strong background in enterprise applications, agile delivery, and revenue operations. They should have proven experience managing teams, delivering complex Salesforce solutions, and partnering with business leaders to drive transformation.

  • 8+ years of Salesforce development or equivalent experience focused on Lead-to-Cash, Demand-to-Cash, or Quote-to-Cash processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce platforms, including Revenue Cloud Advanced, CPQ, and Sales Cloud.
  • Experience developing Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, integrations, and configuration-based approaches.
  • 2+ years of experience managing Salesforce developers, contractors, or technical teams using Agile methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security practices, vulnerabilities, and secure development principles.
  • Experience working in business consulting environments with strong presentation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven experience managing technical delivery, resources, budgets, and enterprise application initiatives.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business teams, product teams, global IT organizations, consultants, and vendors.
  • Strong focus on improving seller and partner experiences through technology solutions.
  • Experience using AI technologies to improve workflows, decision-making, efficiency, and business outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with distributed teams, including offshore development resources, is preferred.
  • Consulting experience, including Big Four environments, is a plus.
  • Experience with Revenue Cloud Advanced project delivery is a plus.
