This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director based in United States.

This leadership role is responsible for guiding multiple professional teams and ensuring operational excellence across fiduciary administration services.
You will oversee team performance, develop future leaders, and drive progress toward organizational goals.
The position combines people leadership, regulatory expertise, process improvement, and strategic planning.
You will play a key role in strengthening service delivery, improving operational models, and supporting long-term business growth.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced retirement plan professional with strong knowledge of compliance requirements and team management.
Working remotely, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders while helping shape efficient and scalable service operations.

Accountabilities:

The Director will lead multiple teams, ensuring they deliver high-quality service while meeting productivity, client retention, and operational objectives. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, regulatory awareness, and the ability to improve processes in a growing organization.

  • Champion organizational values, policies, and service standards across assigned teams.
  • Manage and support 4–6 professional teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational priorities.
  • Monitor team productivity, performance metrics, and progress through reporting and data analysis.
  • Establish weekly objectives, track results, and implement improvements to achieve team targets.
  • Resolve escalated service issues while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Develop and mentor assistant team leaders and team leaders to strengthen leadership capabilities.
  • Manage salary budgets, workforce planning, and team resource allocation.
  • Support client retention initiatives through consistent service quality and operational excellence.
  • Stay informed on regulatory updates, legislative changes, industry trends, and technology developments impacting retirement plan services.
  • Provide strategic input on staffing models, succession planning, and organizational improvements.
  • Help advance service offerings and contribute to the evolution of business operations.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced retirement plan professional with extensive expertise in non-discrimination testing, compliance regulations, and team leadership. Success in this role requires strong analytical abilities, communication skills, and the ability to manage complex priorities.

  • 10+ years of experience in non-discrimination testing.
  • 8+ years of supervisory or people management experience.
  • Credentials from a nationally recognized organization such as ASPPA or NIPA.
  • Strong knowledge of ERISA, Internal Revenue Code requirements, and related regulations.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, develop talent, and manage performance.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Familiarity with Pension Pro is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a remote environment.
