Job Description

Manager, Marketing Effectiveness

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, Marketing Effectiveness based in the United States.

This role leads the data foundation behind marketing measurement and reporting for a major global client. You’ll own data quality, governance, integrations, and reporting infrastructure across complex, multi-channel datasets. The position combines technical leadership with hands-on data management in a high-trust, low-oversight environment. You’ll help transition recurring reporting toward a dashboard-first model while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and usability. Working closely with measurement, analytics, and account teams, you’ll connect data infrastructure to business questions and measurement priorities. You’ll also serve as a trusted data partner for client stakeholders, balancing technical feasibility with clear expectations. This is an opportunity to shape reliable marketing data systems that directly support better decisions and measurable business outcomes.

Accountabilities:
  • Own data quality, QA processes, and taxonomy governance across marketing measurement and reporting workstreams, defining and maintaining standards that ensure consistent and reliable outputs.
  • Lead the continued transition from recurring reports to a dashboard-first environment using Power BI, ensuring data integrity, visualization quality, and client-facing usability.
  • Manage, integrate, and maintain multi-source, multi-channel datasets spanning paid media, owned channels, third-party sources, and other marketing data ecosystems.
  • Develop and manage data integrations, connectors, and API endpoints to support reliable ingestion from internal and external systems.
  • Integrate disparate data sources into unified, decision-ready datasets and troubleshoot ingestion issues to maintain accurate and uninterrupted reporting.
  • Partner with measurement, analytics, and account teams to connect data infrastructure with measurement plans, learning agendas, and broader marketing objectives.
  • Support marketing mix modeling (MMM) data workstreams by preparing, validating, and maintaining high-quality datasets.
  • Act as the trusted data lead in client interactions, evaluating technical feasibility, setting realistic expectations, communicating risks, and providing credible recommendations.
  • Operate independently in a high-volume environment while maintaining rigorous attention to detail, documentation, and adherence to cross-functional QA processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data workflows, reporting efficiency, visualization quality, and overall reliability of the marketing measurement ecosystem.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or another quantitative discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 4–6+ years of experience in data engineering, data management, analytics engineering, or a related field, ideally within high-volume and complex environments.
  • Demonstrated experience owning data quality, QA processes, taxonomy governance, and data validation frameworks.
  • Strong experience working with large, multi-source, multi-channel datasets within the media, advertising, or marketing ecosystem.
  • High proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools such as Excel, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Hands-on experience integrating disparate data sources into unified dashboards or reporting environments.
  • Strong experience developing, managing, and troubleshooting API endpoints and integrations with internal and external systems.
  • Experience maintaining data connectors and resolving ingestion issues to ensure accurate and continuous data flows.
  • Experience supporting marketing mix modeling (MMM) data workstreams is highly valuable.
  • Ability to work autonomously with complex datasets and make sound decisions with limited management oversight.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills, with the judgment to assess feasibility, manage expectations, and communicate technical considerations clearly.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, project-management, storytelling, and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional, cross-channel, and client teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  • Ability to translate technical data concepts into clear business insights and actionable recommendations.
Benefits:
  • Annual salary range of $68,000–$105,000, with placement determined by relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other applicable factors.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Life insurance.
  • Short-term and long-term disability insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Flexible paid time off.
  • At least 15 paid holidays per year.
  • Paid sick and safe leave.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • Flexible working arrangements, with remote opportunities available depending on location, role, and business needs.
  • A collaborative work environment that combines flexibility with opportunities for in-person connection.
  • Reasonable workplace accommodations are available for qualified individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans.
  • Opportunities to work on complex marketing measurement, analytics, and data initiatives with cross-functional teams.
