Senior Strategic Alliance Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Strategic Alliance Manager based in United States.

The Senior Strategic Alliance Manager will turn partner relationships into scalable, revenue-generating opportunities across the SMB ecosystem. This role combines strategic relationship management, business development, sales execution, and partner enablement. You will develop and execute plans that strengthen partner engagement, expand pipelines, and accelerate joint business outcomes. Working across multiple levels of partner organizations, you will communicate value propositions, identify opportunities, and help drive deals from relationship building through execution. You will also collaborate with marketing and channel leadership on campaigns, events, and quarterly business reviews. This is a fully remote U.S. opportunity for a proactive, commercially minded professional who enjoys building strategic alliances and creating measurable growth.

Accountabilities:

As Senior Strategic Alliance Manager, you will own the development and performance of strategic partner relationships, coordinating internal and external stakeholders to drive pipeline growth, revenue, and long-term engagement.

  • Develop and execute partner-specific plans designed to achieve shared internal and external objectives.
  • Manage partner sales pipelines and provide accurate forecasts and performance updates to leadership.
  • Present the organization’s value proposition to stakeholders at multiple levels within partner organizations.
  • Build, strengthen, and expand relationships across the partner ecosystem.
  • Identify new opportunities and leverage partner networks to generate and close business.
  • Track and regularly report on planning activities, progress, partner engagement, and performance.
  • Lead and participate in regular Quarterly Business Reviews with channel leadership.
  • Collaborate with Partner Marketing Managers to identify and execute co-marketing opportunities.
  • Support partner-facing initiatives such as lunch-and-learns, seminars, webinars, campaigns, and trade shows.
  • Maintain accurate partner profiles, contact information, and relationship data within Salesforce and other relevant systems.
  • Coordinate multiple workstreams while prioritizing initiatives based on business impact.
  • Serve as a proactive partner-facing representative through virtual meetings and travel as needed.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a commercially driven alliance professional with a strong sales foundation and demonstrated experience using partner ecosystems to generate business and build long-term relationships.

  • 5+ years of experience in channel development, business development, or strategic alliances within the SMB ecosystem.
  • Proven experience leveraging partner ecosystems to build and close deals across multiple organizational levels.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and partner-driven growth strategies.
  • Experience working within the QuickBooks/Intuit ecosystem is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident presenting both virtually and in person to different audiences.
  • Outgoing, optimistic, and commercially minded approach to sales and partnerships.
  • Self-starter who takes ownership, demonstrates initiative, and proactively moves projects forward.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian/Jira is a plus.
  • Willingness and ability to engage with partners through video conferencing and travel, with approximately 50–60% partner-facing activity.

  • Colorado OTE range: $94,620–$151,380 annually.
  • Washington OTE range: $94,620–$167,340 annually.
  • California OTE range: $94,600–$183,240 annually.
  • NYC OTE range: $104,580–$183,240 annually.
  • Eligibility to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, subject to the applicable plan and role.
