Job Description

Account Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Account Manager based in United States.

The Account Manager will play a central role in managing strategic partnerships within a fast-growing FinTech SaaS environment. This position translates partnership strategies into effective programs, enabling partners to market, sell, and adopt innovative payment and data solutions. You will own day-to-day partner engagement while coordinating closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, Professional Services, and senior leadership. The role combines account management, sales enablement, go-to-market execution, training, and performance analysis. You will help establish clear success metrics, strengthen partner relationships, and turn collaborative initiatives into measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes. This is a high-ownership opportunity for a structured, commercially minded professional who enjoys solving complex problems and making partnerships work at scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with key partners and execute partner programs designed by relationship management teams.
  • Translate partnership strategies into structured programs, processes, and initiatives that drive adoption, engagement, and measurable outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions and enablement materials covering product offerings, positioning, processes, and sales approaches.
  • Oversee deal registration and lead distribution in accordance with partner agreements, routing opportunities to the appropriate sales teams.
  • Drive partner engagement through joint marketing initiatives, webinars, conferences, and other collaborative events.
  • Support account executives and relationship managers in resolving conflicts and addressing issues between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain joint go-to-market and product strategies for integrated and referral partners.
  • Establish mutual agreement with partners around success metrics, processes, responsibilities, and timelines.
  • Coordinate internal and partner-side resources to execute GTM strategies and accelerate adoption.
  • Lead strategic alignment across Sales, Product, Marketing, Professional Services, and other relevant functions.
  • Create clarity around rules of engagement and ensure partner teams are equipped to communicate and deliver a compelling joint value proposition.
  • Track partner health, campaign performance, pipeline development, conversion rates, and enablement ROI, using data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide actionable partner and market feedback to inform product development, messaging, processes, and commercial strategies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, including partner milestones, sales-qualified opportunity pipeline, closed-won revenue, sales-cycle timelines, conversion rates, and partner satisfaction.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with partners and proactively guide stakeholders toward successful outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 5–10 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, account management, or channel leadership, preferably within payments, FinTech, or SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of partner incentive structures, go-to-market planning, channel programs, and long-cycle relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate commercial and technical concepts for diverse audiences and align technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong sales enablement and partner management capabilities, with experience turning strategic initiatives into operational execution.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to engage confidently with C-level executives and influence senior decision-makers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to identifying root causes and opportunities.
  • Highly proactive, structured, decisive, and accountable, with strong follow-through and a willingness to take ownership.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and coordinate multiple cross-functional initiatives simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to build win-win partnerships and resolve complex stakeholder conflicts.
  • Customer- and partner-oriented mindset, with the ability to anticipate needs and identify problems before they affect relationships.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach, with a willingness to step in wherever needed to help achieve shared goals.
  • Adaptable, resilient, curious, and comfortable working in an environment that values continuous improvement and thoughtful decision-making.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; candidates requiring visa sponsorship or work authorization outside the United States are not eligible.
  • A “no task too small” mindset and genuine enthusiasm for building and improving new programs and processes.

Benefits:

  • Remote position available to candidates based in the United States.
  • Base salary range of $110,000–$150,000 USD.
  • Opportunity to work at the intersection of FinTech, SaaS, payments, and data intelligence.
  • High-ownership role with significant influence over strategic partner programs and go-to-market execution.
  • Close collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Opportunity to work with strategic partners and support solutions used by major enterprise organizations.
  • Environment focused on customer and partner success, collaboration, innovation, integrity, and continuous improvement.
  • Opportunities to contribute to the development of new partnership programs, processes, and commercial strategies.
