Salary Range or Pay Grade: $83,100 - $87,500
Description
The Department of Music at Princeton University may have an occasional curricular need for semester-long, non-tenure-track lecturer positions to teach or co-teach courses and/or lead ensembles, and accepts applications in advance in the event the occasion arises where such lecturers are needed. Areas of study/practice may include electronic music, music production, music theory, music history, jazz tradition, musicology, repertoire, and more.
The expected start dates would be September 1, 2026, or January 16, 2027, for any available work; any appointments are subject to enrollments and may be for one or two semesters during the 2026-2027 academic year, with the potential for renewal depending on departmental need.
Qualifications
An advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred. Experience teaching undergraduate (A.B. or B.M.) level is strongly preferred.
