This role offers a unique opportunity to lead both strategy and execution within the K-12 educational technology sales space, driving meaningful impact across schools and districts. You will guide a small team of sales consultants while also managing your own territory and revenue targets, balancing leadership with hands-on commercial responsibility. The position is deeply rooted in understanding educator needs and translating them into effective learning solutions that improve classroom outcomes. You will play a key role in expanding the adoption of digital learning platforms used by educators and students at scale. The environment is fast-paced, mission-driven, and highly collaborative, requiring both strategic thinking and strong execution. You will also act as a mentor and coach, helping to elevate the performance of your team. This is an ideal role for someone passionate about education, technology, and sales leadership.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, leading a small team of sales professionals, and executing strategic initiatives across a defined territory within the K-12 education market.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with market conditions and revenue goals
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of 2–3 educational sales consultants to achieve performance targets
  • Build and manage your own sales pipeline within a defined territory while meeting individual revenue targets
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs within the K-12 education sector to inform sales approaches
  • Track, forecast, and manage sales performance metrics to ensure consistent achievement of goals
  • Provide coaching and guidance throughout the sales cycle to improve team effectiveness and outcomes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine messaging, positioning, and customer engagement strategies
  • Travel extensively (approximately 75–80%) to engage with clients and support sales initiatives in the field
Requirements:

This role requires a strong background in education-focused sales, leadership capabilities, and deep familiarity with the K-12 education ecosystem.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably within educational technology or EdTech environments
  • Proven experience in sales leadership, mentoring, or team management
  • Strong understanding of the K-12 education landscape, including classroom needs and decision-making processes
  • Direct classroom or teaching experience is highly preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working with web-based or SaaS products is an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to forecast, track, and manage pipeline performance
  • Passion for education and improving learning outcomes through technology
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $120,000 to $145,000 CAD
  • Commission eligibility in addition to base compensation
  • Comprehensive benefits package including healthcare and employee support programs
  • Fully remote role with flexibility to work from within Canada (Ontario preferred, Toronto metro area)
  • Opportunity to lead a small team while maintaining individual sales ownership
  • High-impact role contributing directly to the adoption of educational technology in classrooms
  • Strong mission-driven culture focused on improving learning outcomes for students and educators
  • Travel opportunities (75–80%) enabling direct engagement with schools and education stakeholders.
