This role is an exciting entry point into high-growth B2B technology sales, focused on building pipeline and creating meaningful engagement with finance and operations leaders across North America. You will act as the first touchpoint in the customer journey, identifying, qualifying, and developing opportunities for a platform that transforms accounts receivable into a strategic advantage. The position blends outbound prospecting, consultative communication, and data-driven pipeline development in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment. You will collaborate closely with senior sales professionals while gaining exposure to the full sales cycle and multiple business functions. Strong mentorship, structured training, and continuous feedback will support your growth as you build core sales expertise. - Act as the first point of contact in the sales cycle by qualifying inbound and outbound leads and identifying customer readiness and fit.
- Proactively prospect potential customers through cold calls, email outreach, social selling, and creative engagement strategies.
- Schedule qualified discovery meetings for Account Executives by generating interest and building early-stage pipeline.
- Research target accounts, key stakeholders, and buying committees to personalize outreach and improve conversion rates.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of activity, pipeline, and customer interactions in Salesforce and related CRM tools.
- Collaborate closely with marketing teams to support lead generation campaigns, events, and follow-up initiatives.
- Work with sales leadership and peers to refine messaging, improve outreach strategies, and optimize pipeline performance.
- Contribute to team culture by sharing insights, best practices, and continuously improving outbound effectiveness.
- 2–5 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or similar outbound sales development role.
- Proven track record of generating pipeline through cold outreach, including calls, emails, and social selling.
- Consistent achievement of outbound KPIs such as meetings booked, pipeline created, or quota attainment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence multiple stakeholder personas, including senior executives.
- High level of curiosity and strong business acumen to understand customer pain points and align solutions effectively.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with a strong bias toward action.
- Experience using sales tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or outreach automation platforms.
- Strong collaboration skills and openness to coaching, feedback, and continuous improvement.
- Bonus: experience selling into finance teams or CFO-level stakeholders in B2B environments.
- Competitive base salary ($50,000–$55,000 CAD) with on-target earnings up to $85,000 CAD
