Senior Product Manager - Logistics & Delivery

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager - Logistics & Delivery based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to shape critical logistics and delivery experiences within a fast-growing e-commerce environment.
You will define product strategy, roadmaps, and execution for complex initiatives spanning fulfillment, operations, and technology.
Working closely with Engineering, Product, Architecture, and Operations, you will turn real-world logistics challenges into scalable product solutions.
You will lead discovery, prioritization, experimentation, and delivery while balancing customer needs with business and technical priorities.
The role also provides an opportunity to identify AI and machine learning applications that can improve commerce and operational performance.
With significant ownership and visibility, you will influence senior stakeholders, mentor product talent, and drive measurable business outcomes.

Accountabilities
  • Define the strategic vision, roadmap, and goals for large and complex product initiatives, using sound independent judgment to resolve ambiguous and cross-functional challenges.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Project Managers, Engineering, Architecture, Operations, and senior stakeholders to align teams around shared objectives and deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Work closely with fulfillment center and operations teams to translate warehouse and logistics workflows into clear product requirements and scalable technology solutions.
  • Define experience architecture, desired outcomes, user journeys, and delivery plans across complex projects, adapting documentation and priorities as business needs evolve.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities to apply artificial intelligence and machine learning to commerce and logistics use cases.
  • Own product backlogs, requirements, user stories, and product documentation across multiple initiatives while continuously improving delivery practices.
  • Use JIRA and Confluence or equivalent platforms to maintain documentation and facilitate scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and sprint reviews.
  • Lead user acceptance testing planning and execution, owning testing and implementation approval to ensure stable and scalable releases, particularly ahead of high-volume periods.
  • Establish project KPIs, design A/B tests and staged rollout strategies, develop performance monitoring plans, and conduct post-launch analysis to measure results and identify further opportunities.
  • Communicate complex product insights, decisions, and outcomes effectively to senior stakeholders and influence priorities across departments.
  • Mentor and develop junior product managers while helping strengthen product management practices and capabilities across the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, combined with 7+ years of product management experience.
  • Proven track record of independently leading large, complex, and cross-functional initiatives from discovery through implementation and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong experience defining KPIs, designing and running A/B tests and experimentation programs, and establishing performance monitoring frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence, or equivalent tools, for product documentation, backlog management, and scrum ceremonies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment when navigating complex, ambiguous, or escalated situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and maintain ownership of timelines and deliverables.
  • Exposure to identifying or applying AI and machine learning opportunities within commerce or related business environments.
  • Experience supporting fulfillment center, warehouse, logistics, or delivery operations is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ownership of measurable commercial outcomes such as conversion, revenue, profitability, or P&L is preferred.
  • Familiarity with modern e-commerce architecture, including headless commerce, APIs, and enterprise commerce platforms is advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience querying data using SQL or BigQuery is preferred.
  • Previous e-commerce industry experience and familiarity with design or prototyping tools are a plus.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring employment visa sponsorship.
  • The position is available to candidates located in or willing to relocate to Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or Washington.
  • The role requires travel to the company's headquarters in Melville, New York approximately six times per year for internal meetings and team-building activities.
