Job Description

Customer Success Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Customer Success Manager based in United States.

This role will lead the successful delivery of a high-volume creative program supporting small and medium-sized businesses with stronger video-based demand generation. You will manage a portfolio of approximately 20 or more concurrent client engagements, ensuring every project progresses smoothly from onboarding through final delivery. The position combines client management, project coordination, creative production oversight, financial tracking, and portfolio health monitoring. You will serve as a central connection point between clients, creative teams, strategy, finance, and account stakeholders. Success requires disciplined execution, proactive communication, and the ability to identify and resolve risks before they affect delivery. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced digital marketing environment where operational excellence and client experience directly influence program success.

Accountabilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients entering the program, establishing clear expectations around processes, timelines, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Lead client onboarding and adoption of creative delivery platforms and workflow tools, ensuring clients understand briefing, asset submission, and review processes.
  • Confirm project scope, requirements, and client expectations are accurately documented before work begins.
  • Manage each engagement through the complete delivery lifecycle, from brief intake and project setup through final asset delivery and client handoff.
  • Own milestone calendars across a portfolio of concurrent engagements, proactively identifying bottlenecks related to approvals, asset submissions, production capacity, or internal turnaround times.
  • Maintain consistent client communication throughout each engagement, including status updates, review cycles, deadlines, and next steps.
  • Coordinate between clients, strategy teams, and creative production teams, translating briefs and feedback into clear direction for delivery.
  • Track creative output against program requirements, coordinate revisions, and escalate scope, quality, or capacity risks before they impact timelines.
  • Manage financial checkpoints for each engagement, including budget allocation, spend tracking, production cost confirmation, and identification of potential overruns.
  • Partner with Finance and Creative Delivery teams to ensure project costs are agreed upon and accurately tracked before work is approved.
  • Monitor client health across the portfolio by tracking responsiveness, satisfaction, engagement, and potential risk signals.
  • Escalate expansion, retention, or relationship risks to the appropriate account or sales owner without owning the commercial conversion.
  • Manage project closeout, ensuring final assets, client approvals, documentation, and financial reconciliation are completed.
  • Capture lessons learned from completed engagements and use them to improve delivery processes, workflows, and client experiences.

Requirements:

  • 4–7 years of experience in client management, project management, program management, or account coordination within a digital marketing, creative production, or agency environment.
  • Experience working with creative teams or creative delivery, particularly in video production.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects or accounts in a high-volume, process-driven environment rather than focusing on a single account.
  • Experience onboarding clients to proprietary platforms, portals, workflow systems, or similar technology, including the ability to troubleshoot basic platform issues.
  • Working knowledge of project budgets, scope management, financial tracking, and identifying cost or delivery risks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence managing client expectations, timelines, feedback, and potentially difficult conversations.
  • Experience within a media agency environment, particularly involving YouTube or programmatic channels.
  • Practical understanding of YouTube creative best practices, including Google’s ABCD framework and video-first demand generation strategies.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and maintain attention to detail across a broad client portfolio.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach with the ability to work effectively across creative, strategy, finance, account, and client teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with structured, repeatable delivery processes and high client expectations.

Benefits:

  • Remote working opportunity based in the United States.
  • Six-month contract position.
  • Compensation range of $8,000–$10,000 per month.
  • Opportunity to manage a portfolio of 20+ concurrent client engagements.
  • Exposure to digital marketing, creative production, YouTube, and video-first demand generation.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with creative, strategy, finance, account, and client teams.
  • Opportunity to work with structured creative delivery processes and proprietary workflow technology.
  • High-impact role with direct responsibility for client experience, delivery quality, and program execution.
  • Opportunity to contribute to process improvements and shape a scalable client delivery model.
