This leadership role oversees a diverse product portfolio and drives operational excellence across planning, development, optimization, and market delivery.

The position combines product strategy, portfolio management, people leadership, and data-informed decision-making.

- Lead the Product Excellence team by establishing clear objectives, key performance indicators, timelines, priorities, and expectations across all product lines.
- Develop, execute, and continuously optimize product plans for a diverse portfolio, ensuring alignment with broader organizational strategy and market delivery objectives.
- Oversee planning, development, administration, and optimization of assigned products, programs, and services.
- Coordinate multiple concurrent product development initiatives, maintaining alignment across product lines and ensuring projects progress efficiently toward successful market delivery.
- Monitor portfolio and program performance through KPIs and other relevant metrics, using data and insights to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and initiatives designed to improve product quality, cost efficiency, productivity, and overall business performance.
- Lead cross-functional product development efforts, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring high-quality, timely, and efficient outcomes.
- Plan, organize, and evaluate the work of the Product Excellence function while establishing an engaging, inclusive, and high-performance team culture.
- Manage and develop team members by setting performance expectations, establishing individual development goals, providing coaching and feedback, and addressing performance issues constructively.
- Support employees in resolving workplace challenges and conflicts while promoting transparency, collaboration, and accountability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead strategic projects that enhance product operations and overall organizational effectiveness.
- Ensure day-to-day decisions and team practices reflect principles of fairness, integrity, security, honesty, responsible operations, diversity, equity, inclusion, and workplace safety.
- Foster an environment where employees can succeed through clear communication, professional development, collaboration, and strong leadership practices.
- Bachelor's degree combined with at least 5 years of professional experience in product development, product management, or product operations, plus at least 3 years of supervisory or management experience; or
- At least 8 years of professional experience in product development, product management, or product operations, plus at least 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing or optimizing a diverse product portfolio and coordinating multiple concurrent product initiatives.
- Strong understanding of product planning, development, operations, performance management, and continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to establish KPIs, analyze performance data, measure outcomes, and translate insights into actionable business decisions.
- Strong project and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, timelines, and cross-functional dependencies.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams while establishing a culture of accountability, inclusion, collaboration, and high performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and organizational levels.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a practical, data-informed approach to improving quality, efficiency, productivity, and cost effectiveness.
- Ability to align individual and team objectives with broader organizational strategy and business priorities.

- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while traveling onsite approximately once per quarter for team meetings, training, and other business-related events.
- Annual salary range of $110,604–$179,956 for non-PERS positions and $118,300–$189,254 for PERS positions, depending on applicable classification and qualifications.
- Full-time, salaried exempt position with a Monday–Friday schedule.
- Remote work arrangement with occasional onsite travel, approximately once per quarter.
