Network Engineer (Security and AV Systems)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide design support for network infrastructure, ensuring compatibility with security and AV systems
• Assist in product selection and make necessary adjustments to meet project requirements.
• Configure equipment in a lab environment to test functionality and troubleshoot issues.
• Deploy to site in support of system installations, ensuring successful integration with existing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess integration needs and implement solutions into existing customer networks.
• Requirements:
Competencies and Qualifications
• Proven experience in designing and deploying small networks, preferably in the security or AV industry.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching technologies.
• Familiarity with security principles and best practices for network infrastructure.
• Experience with audiovisual systems and integration is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot network issues effectively.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
