SAGE Black is seeking qualified candidates who are Systems Administrators with experience in Window environment.

Program conducts satellite engineering and software and database maintenance to sustain on-orbit satellite health, safety, system, and mission operations for the Milstar, DSCS III and AEHF satellite constellations, as well as to support sustainment of the Milstar System in support of Milstar operations through MCSW/OSL at Peterson AFB, Schriever AFB, and other designated MILSATCOM operational and training sites. The program provides technical management and administrative support required to maintain currently supported Milstar, DSCS and AEHF system software, hardware, and databases in a state of operational readiness. The program also provides spacecraft and payload flight software patching; database parameter validation and updates; software maintenance; configuration management; and file/version management of all applicable satellite software/data modules to maintain Milstar, DSCS and AEHF satellite performance or to correct and/or mitigate anomalies.

Because we serve on a greater team that serves our country, the System Administrator is required to possess an active Secret security clearance, and the preferred candidate will possess a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Active SECRET Security Clearance
• Responsible for administration and maintenance of Microsoft Windows workstations and servers.
• 3+ years experience with Microsoft Windows administration
• 3+ years experience with VMWare administration
• 2+ years experience configuring systems for deployment in a DoD Secret environment
• Active Security+ CE Certification
• Ability to install and configure Microsoft operating systems: Windows 7/10, Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019.
• Ability to debug computer problems as reported by end users.
• Ability to apply Operating System and antivirus updates and WSUS patching/updates.

Desired Skills:

• Ability to ensure compliance with computer security policy, Risk Management Framework (RMF). Ability to follow defined Change Management (CM) policies for system updates.
• Knowledge of software licensing and procurement practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in an organized manner.

• Occasional Swing or Graveyard shift work as dictated by mission requirements
