About This Position
The Channel Sales Specialist is responsible for supporting and managing CFS Technologies’ relationships with channel partners, distributors, and key accounts to expand market reach and drive revenue growth. This role focuses on building strong partnerships, supporting joint sales strategies, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction through coordinated execution between internal teams and external partners.
**This is not a remote position it will be based out of our corporate office in North Little Rock, AR**Sales Support Functions
• Track open orders for top accounts
• Understand and track all open orders past 30 days and provide weekly updates to the Director
• Maintain backlog reduction tracker and action log
• Develop and update account plans
• Prepare account review decks and business update materials
• Track quote-to-order conversion rates for top accounts
• Update and own all contact information in the CRM
• Consolidate POS reports
• Maintain visibility on inventory levels for high-velocity SKUs
Business Development Functions
• Develop and track pipeline of expansion opportunities
• Assist in building training decks and promotional campaigns
• Contact branches and locations of top accounts to set up meetings and product trainings
• Coordinated and set up joint sales calls
• Follow up large orders (over $10K) to better understand the application / end user and replicate across other locations
• Check in with new locations that just placed an order to ensure satisfaction
• Track and maintain a dashboard of all top account locations that are not working with us or are aware of us.
Strategic Growth Support
• Partner with Director to execute account growth strategy
• Monitor sales trends and flag risks/opportunities
• Track and report KPIs for top account performance – their owned accounts
• Maintain engagement cadence with key account locations
Qualifications
• Strong leadership and relationship management skills with the ability to influence partners and cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to develop and execute channel strategies that drive measurable business results.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Strong business acumen and analytical abilities to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in channel sales, account management, or business development within a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment.
• Proven track record of building and managing successful channel partner networks.
• Experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies and partner incentive programs.
• An equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• The work performed is conducted in a climate-controlled facility.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.
• Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
• Manufacturing / warehouse setting
• Exposure to varying temperatures depending on season
• Noise levels consistent with warehouse operations
