About the Role:
The Status Specialist plays a critical role in monitoring, managing, and communicating the status of various projects, processes, or systems within an organization. This position ensures that all stakeholders are kept informed with accurate and timely updates, facilitating smooth operations and decision-making. The Status Specialist is responsible for gathering data from multiple sources, communicating externally and internally with different parties, researching court and sheriff websites, processing paperwork for mailing and/or service. Ultimately, the Status Specialist contributes to operational efficiency and transparency of the processing of Garnishments.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience working in a call center type environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Excel and Word.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Court websites
- Knowledge of industry-specific processes relevant to civil law.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and consolidate status information from various internal teams and external partners on a regular basis.
- Prepare and process packets for service by sheriff and/or process server.
- Maintain and update tracking systems or tools to ensure real-time accuracy of status information.
- Collaborate with managers, team leads, and other departments to verify data and resolve discrepancies.
Skills:
The required skills enable the Status Specialist to efficiently gather, analyze, and communicate complex information to diverse audiences, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all status updates. Proficiency in Microsoft Office perferably Excel and Word. Strong communication skills are essential for liaising with multiple entities and resolving any data inconsistencies. Together, these skills empower the Status Specialist to drive transparency and informed decision-making throughout the organization.
Start time: 9 am - 11 am (flexible)
8 Hour shift - 1 hour lunch break (flexible)
