Job Description

TLC Wildlife Management is Central Ohio’s only exclusively non-lethal wildlife management company, specializing in humane, long-term solutions for unwanted wildlife in homes and businesses. We protect both our clients’ properties and the animals we encounter — safely, responsibly, and with integrity.

Are you someone who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems, and staying active? Do you take pride in your work and enjoy helping people understand how best to solve their specific concerns?

We’re looking for a Wildlife Management Technician who’s not afraid of a ladder, tight spaces, or a little dirt — and who brings professionalism, communication skills, and pride to every job.

You’ll be performing wildlife eviction and exclusion work — everything from inspecting attics and crawl spaces to installing barriers under decks and roofs. You’ll use hand tools, power tools, and problem-solving skills to create permanent, humane solutions.

(If you have a background in construction, landscaping, athletics, or the military — you’ll likely excel here. We value people with discipline, grit, and strong work ethic.)

What You’ll Do

  • Perform humane wildlife eviction and exclusion at residential and commercial properties.
  • Inspect structures from the ground to the roof for entry points, nesting material, and wildlife activity.
  • Use hand tools and light carpentry skills to install high-quality exclusion materials.
  • Dig and install underground barriers to prevent re-entry under decks, sheds, and porches.
  • Safely operate ladders, power tools, and basic equipment.
  • Educate clients on wildlife behavior, prevention strategies, and our non-lethal approach.
  • Maintain accurate job records, photos, and client communications.

What We’re Looking For

  • Reliable, hardworking, and physically capable (able to lift 70 lbs and work on ladders).
  • Comfortable working outdoors year-round, in attics, crawlspaces, and other tight areas.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills — you’ll represent TLC on every visit.
  • Problem-solver who takes initiative and can work independently or as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
  • Ability to pass the ODNR Nuisance Operator Test (we provide training).
  • Experience in wildlife work, construction, landscaping, or similar trades is a plus — but not required. We’ll train the right person.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay with performance bonuses
  • Paid training, license, and certification reimbursement.
  • Advancement opportunities in a growing company.
  • Work that matters — protecting homes and the wildlife that share our communities.

Sound Like You? If you’re dependable, teachable, and take pride in doing quality work outdoors — we’d love to meet you. Every day is different, every job is rewarding, and every animal deserves a humane solution.

Apply today and be part of Central Ohio’s only non-lethal wildlife management team.
