Job Description
Russell Landscape is seeking a Field Recruiter to support high-volume hiring across multiple markets within an assigned region. This role will focus on recruiting hourly field positions including Crew Members, Crew Leaders, Irrigation Technicians, and Spray/Horticulture Technicians. The ideal candidate is a hands-on recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable working in the field, and can build strong talent pipelines through job fairs, community outreach, and local networking. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities· Manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume field positions including Crew Members, Crew Leaders, Irrigation Techs, and Spray/Hort Techs.
· Partner closely with regional and branch leadership to understand hiring needs, workforce planning, and market challenges.
· Develop and execute sourcing strategies including job boards, referrals, social media, and community outreach.
· Attend job fairs, hiring events, and local community events to build strong candidate pipelines.
· Conduct candidate screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
· Ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process from application through onboarding.
· Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
· Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, applicant flow, and hiring progress.
· Travel throughout the assigned region to support hiring initiatives and events as needed.
· Promote Russell Landscape’s brand and culture in all candidate interactions.
Qualifications· 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in high-volume or hourly workforce hiring.
· Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
· Experience recruiting for landscaping, construction, or field-based roles is strongly preferred.
· Ability to manage multiple requisitions across different locations.
· Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
· Comfortable working in both office and field environments.
· Experience attending or coordinating job fairs and hiring events.
· Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools.
· Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region.
Work Environment & ExpectationsThis role requires a combination of office, remote, and field-based work. The Field Recruiter will regularly travel to various branch locations and attend events, which may include early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.
