About This Position

What you need to know about this position:
- The Environmental Services Lead role will provide training and oversight to front line Environmental Services employees to ensure that they are competent in executing the work to comply with standard work instructions, policies, and protocols, and best practice programs as designed by departmental leadership.
- This role will also reflect and train individuals in "The Way We Care" model of service excellence to promote patient and staff satisfaction.
- The Environmental Services Lead will need the technical skill to execute the training, the people skills to train and communicate and the initial leadership skill to be able to evaluate an individual's ability to comply with the desired outcome.
- The shift for this evening position will be 4:00PM-12:30AM, five days a week (40 hours/week, full-time), with a weekend and holiday rotation.
- The base hourly rate for this position is $18.95. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience and does include shift differentials and premium pay as applicable. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.

Education and/or Experience
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or abilities required to enable one to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge and familiarity with chemical use and dilution rates
- Good communication skills.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and written
- Knowledge of different cleaning procedures and isolation cleaning procedures (Standard Work Instructions)
- Be able to work under pressure as difficult situations arise and retain a sense of diplomacy and urgency
- Prioritize effectively in the face of infinite demands and finite resources.
