Job Description

OnPoint Medical Group is seeking an organized, dependable, and proactive Temporary Purchasing & Office Assistant to support our corporate office, purchasing activities, and clinic operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable coordinating with vendors, clinic teams, and corporate leadership.

Temporary Assignment: Approximately 6–8 Weeks

Key Responsibilities

Office Support

  • Answer front desk calls and welcome guests and visitors.
  • Collect, sort, and distribute incoming mail.
  • Order and stock snacks and beverages for the corporate office.
  • Monitor inventory and order office supplies as needed.
  • Help maintain an organized and professional office environment.

Purchasing and Inventory Support

  • Complete vendor visits and supply pickups as needed.
  • Assist with ordering approved medical supplies, including Botox, COVID-19 vaccines, IUDs, and other clinical products.
  • Coordinate and track transfers of medical supplies and equipment between clinic locations.
  • Assist with purchasing activities, order tracking, vendor communication, and follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate and organized purchasing and inventory records.

Facilities and Operations Support

  • Assist with clinic buildouts, expansions, relocations, and other facilities-related projects.
  • Schedule and coordinate handyman services, repairs, and maintenance requests.
  • Communicate with vendors, contractors, and clinic teams to help keep projects on schedule.
  • Conduct site visits and assist with equipment moves and other operational needs.
  • Follow up on open requests and communicate progress to appropriate team members.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain organized project records and supporting documentation.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to corporate leadership.
  • Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in office administration, purchasing, inventory, facilities coordination, or a related support role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and follow through on deadlines.
  • Comfortable communicating with vendors, contractors, clinic employees, and leadership.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Valid driver’s license, car insurance, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel between local clinic and vendor locations as needed.
  • Ability to safely lift and move office or medical supplies and equipment, with assistance when appropriate.

Assignment Details

  • Temporary position lasting approximately six to eight weeks.
  • Primarily based at the corporate office, with local travel to clinic and vendor locations as needed.
  • This temporary assignment does not guarantee continued employment beyond the anticipated assignment period.
