CpK Interior Products Inc. is hiring a HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST to support our team in cross‑functional operational activities. This role is responsible for promoting high morale and engagement of workers through strong labor relations capabilities. Recruiting and assisting in the onboarding process of employees. Leading efforts to identify learning gaps and eliminate losses due to lack of knowledge and skills. Participating in grievance resolutions, while contributing to Plant SQDCM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale) objectives.

What You’ll Do (Key responsibilities, not limited to)

  • Facilitates and promotes a positive, safe work environment based on the Company Standards of Conduct and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
  • Act as first line contact for all employees, fielding comments, questions and concerns by providing the appropriate escalation channels with all related parties.
  • Provide daily contact with plant floor employees to create effective communication channels and build strong employee relations and positive morale.
  • Develop a positive working relationship with the Union while navigating and upholding CBA provisions
  • Actively participate in Labour and Employee relations activities including complaint resolution, investigations, grievance meetings, arbitrations and contract negotiation preparation.
  • Follow all company obligations as outlined in the CBA and other related language.
  • Full cycle recruitment process for skilled trade and salary positions including facilitation of onboarding and new hire orientation.
  • Facilitate the implementation and enforcement of Human Resources policies and processes.
  • Participate in the effective staffing, training, record keeping, and disciplining procedures
  • Collect and analyze information as it relates to human resource functions to determine and implement corrective action to address workplace issues.
  • Support the administration of company benefit programs, payroll procedures and communication including input into payroll/HRIS systems.
  • Utilizes Human Resource Information System and maintains labour relations files.
  • Promote positive workforce engagement and morale through employee suggestion and rewards programs.
  • Organizes summer picnic and various holiday or fundraising events.
  • Assists HR department with HR projects and activities and provides back-up for the HR Coordinator position.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Human Resources Manager or Plant Manager.

What You Bring

  • Post-secondary degree and or diploma, with a focus in HR or Business Administration.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment;
  • CHRP designation an asset.
  • Understanding of HR practices and principles including legislation: privacy, labour, pay, benefits, OHS, Human Rights.
  • Ability to work under pressure with competing priorities efficiently and diplomatically as part of the team.
  • Able to work independently, pivot to respond to multiple requests and flexibility to change to support management.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and champion for respect and dignity
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, experience with HRIS, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential records.
  • Confidence to make general decisions and motivate others

Work Schedule & Pay

  • Schedule: Full‑time, On-site, Manufacturing 2 shift Operations
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, business hours.
  • Overtime: As required, in accordance with company policy and applicable legislation
  • Compensation Range: $60,000–$80,000 annual

This range reflects our current expectations as of this posting’s date. Your final salary offer will consider various key factors, including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographical locations, as well as the needs and requirements of the business.
