Position Overview

As a Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial trucks and equipment, helping keep our customers' fleets safe, reliable, and on the road. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys solving complex mechanical problems, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to grow with a company that values its employees. What You'll Do

Diagnose and repair diesel enginesRepair transmissions, clutches, and drivelinesTroubleshoot electrical and multiplex systemsRepair air brake, steering, and suspension systemsDiagnose and repair DPF, DEF, SCR, DOC, and EGR systemsPerform preventative maintenance and DOT inspectionsRepair wheel ends, hubs, bearings, seals, and brakesUse OEM diagnostic software and scan toolsDocument repairs accuratelyWork safely while maintaining a clean work areaCommunicate with Service Advisors regarding repair recommendations

What We're Looking For

Heavy-duty diesel repair experience preferredStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsExperience working on commercial trucksFamiliarity with air brake and suspension systemsExperience using diagnostic software and scan toolsValid driver's licenseTeam-oriented with a strong work ethicAbility to lift up to 75 lbs.

Bonus Qualifications

ASE CertificationsState of Michigan CertificationsCDL (or willingness to obtain)Experience with Cummins, Detroit, Paccar, International, Volvo, or Mack enginesAllison or Eaton transmission experienceDOT Inspection CertificationWelding or fabrication experience
