As a Senior Manufacturing Consultant, you will lead ERP implementation projects and provide strategic guidance to clients by leveraging deep manufacturing and operational expertise. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leaders to deliver effective solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP implementations for manufacturing clients across short- and long-term projects.
- Act as a senior functional consultant and trusted advisor across manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, production planning, shop floor execution, costing, and operational processes.
- Analyze existing manufacturing workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend ERP-enabled solutions that support business objectives.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, configuration decisions, solution designs, and testing strategies.
- Facilitate discovery workshops, design sessions, fit-gap analyses, conference room pilots, user acceptance testing, and end-user training.
- Partner with operations, finance, engineering, warehouse, and leadership teams to align ERP capabilities with business processes.
- Support project execution through status reporting, issue management, risk escalation, scope tracking, and stakeholder communication.
- Mentor consultants and contribute to internal methodologies, best practices, templates, and reusable manufacturing solutions.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and integration specialists to ensure effective ERP delivery.
- Promote teamwork, knowledge sharing, and an inclusive working environment.
The ideal candidate brings strong manufacturing process knowledge, ERP consulting experience, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. You should be comfortable leading client engagements, managing multiple priorities, and delivering practical solutions in complex environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, ERP consulting, implementation, or ERP support roles.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including make-to-stock, make-to-order, engineer-to-order, discrete manufacturing, production planning, bills of materials, routings, capacity planning, inventory, and costing.
- 3+ years of experience working with ERP manufacturing solutions, with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience strongly preferred.
- Experience leading client workshops, documenting requirements, managing stakeholders, and translating operational needs into ERP solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage executives and operational teams.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and customer service mindset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
