The HR Technology Analyst will play a key role in supporting and improving HR systems by managing configurations, resolving issues, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver effective technology solutions.
- Address complex Workday service requests, troubleshoot system issues, and support testing of enhancements and configuration updates.
- Analyze business needs, identify root causes of system challenges, and recommend solutions aligned with operational goals.
- Configure, validate, and test Workday business processes, data loads, system releases, and process improvements.
- Support multiple Workday modules, ensuring accurate system performance and alignment with HR requirements.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to HR teams, managers, and users on system functionality and best practices.
- Partner with internal teams and external technology providers to resolve issues, improve processes, and optimize system capabilities.
- Maintain awareness of HR technology trends and apply relevant practices to improve system delivery and user experience.
- Support training initiatives and knowledge sharing to increase adoption and effective use of HR technology tools.
The ideal candidate brings strong HR technology expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in HR technology, information systems, business, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience supporting multiple Workday modules, including areas such as HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, Security, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Performance, or Talent.
- Strong understanding of HR operations, HR processes, and employee data management.
- Experience with Workday Payroll, particularly Canadian payroll configuration and compliance, is highly valued.
- Ability to analyze complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, and develop practical solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing system testing, data validation, configuration changes, and system enhancements.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Competitive compensation with an estimated monthly salary range of approximately $5,608 to $8,975, depending on qualifications, experience, and location.
