Job Description

Salesforce Business Systems Administrator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Salesforce Business Systems Administrator based in United States.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the systems that power a modern, AI-driven revenue organization. You will join a high-performing Enterprise Business Systems team and take ownership of Salesforce administration, configuration, integrations, and business process optimization. The role combines hands-on technical execution with strategic partnership across sales, service, operations, and other business functions. You will translate business challenges into scalable system solutions while improving efficiency and reducing manual work. You will also help define roadmaps, establish best practices, and strengthen the reliability of critical business systems. The environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and highly focused on continuous learning and innovation.

Accountabilities:
  • Administer and continuously improve Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, including complex configuration, declarative development, security, maintenance, and advanced support.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand underlying business challenges, evaluate existing processes, and design technology solutions that address root causes rather than simply fulfilling feature requests.
  • Manage integrations and data flows between Salesforce and key sales, marketing, enablement, and other interconnected business systems.
  • Serve as a product owner for selected business systems by defining roadmaps, prioritizing enhancements, managing system lifecycles, and aligning investments with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to establish integrated system strategies and roadmaps that support organizational priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and optimize business processes, improve operational efficiency, and reduce manual effort through system-driven solutions.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation covering system architecture, data flows, business processes, configurations, and administrative procedures.
  • Establish and promote standards, governance practices, and configuration management procedures that improve system consistency, reliability, maintainability, and compliance.
  • Support multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, balancing competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of execution.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, Salesforce capabilities, AI-enabled efficiencies, and business systems best practices to continuously improve the organization's technology landscape.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator, Business Analyst, or in a closely related business systems role.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise business systems, including CRM, ERP, HRIS, and interconnected business applications.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, configuring, and supporting enterprise-level business systems.
  • Experience working with system integrations, data flows, and middleware technologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process optimization capabilities, with a highly detail-oriented approach.
  • Experience mapping, documenting, and improving business processes and system workflows.
  • Knowledge of system configuration management principles, governance, and administration best practices.
  • Ability to define, communicate, and promote effective standards for system usage and administration.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Project management capabilities, including planning, execution, prioritization, and risk management.
  • Salesforce certification is a plus.
  • Experience in Sales Operations or Business Operations is a plus.
  • Curiosity, initiative, adaptability, and a strong drive to understand problems deeply and identify opportunities for meaningful improvement.
Benefits
  • Fully remote position within the United States.
  • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on business operations through technology and process transformation.
  • Collaborative environment with experienced business systems administrators and engineers.
  • Strong focus on professional development, continuous learning, and expanding technical and business expertise.
  • Exposure to Salesforce, enterprise integrations, AI-enabled efficiencies, and modern revenue technology.
  • Opportunity to work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the organization and influence business systems strategy.
  • Inclusive and supportive workplace that values diverse perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds.
  • Culture that encourages curiosity, innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Equal opportunity employment environment with a focus on creating a workplace where employees can thrive.
