Sr. Partner Success Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Partner Success Manager based in United States.

This remote role offers the opportunity to lead and grow a portfolio of complex university partnerships within a fast-moving educational technology environment. You will serve as a trusted strategic advisor to institutional leaders, helping partners achieve their student success and organizational goals. The role combines relationship management, strategic account planning, data analysis, and consultative problem-solving. You will identify opportunities to expand partnerships, strengthen transfer pathways, and increase adoption of innovative products and services. Working cross-functionally, you will help deliver measurable value to universities and their learners. This is a high-impact senior individual contributor role for someone who thrives in complex partnerships, enjoys solving ambiguous challenges, and is passionate about transforming higher education.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the overall success, retention, and growth of a portfolio of large and complex university partnerships.
  • Manage multiple high-priority partnerships, initiatives, and deliverables simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and accountability.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each institution’s strategic priorities, student populations, academic policies, organizational structures, and decision-making processes.
  • Create and execute comprehensive account plans designed to strengthen relationships, improve partner outcomes, and drive sustainable growth.
  • Analyze partner performance, qualitative and quantitative data, and market trends to identify opportunities and develop actionable strategies.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand transferability, learner awareness, and adoption of available products and services.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across multiple levels and functional areas within partner institutions.
  • Lead strategic partner meetings and business reviews, translating value propositions, learner outcomes, and strategic initiatives into compelling narratives for executive and operational audiences.
  • Manage partner escalations by coordinating internal stakeholders, maintaining clear communication, and driving issues through to resolution.
  • Drive institutional adoption of new products and services by connecting offerings to partner priorities and demonstrating measurable value.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Legal, Operations, and other internal teams to deliver a coordinated partner experience.
  • Share successful practices, resources, and market insights to strengthen the broader Partner Success function and improve university relationship management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in higher education or educational technology.
  • At least 2 years of direct client or account management experience, preferably working with higher education institutions.
  • Strong strategic account management and relationship-building capabilities, with the ability to operate effectively with senior institutional stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with strong presentation and storytelling abilities.
  • Ability to simplify complex information and communicate insights effectively to both executive and operational audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to assess partnership health, identify trends, and formulate actionable recommendations.
  • Strategic and consultative mindset, with the ability to anticipate partner needs, ask thoughtful questions, and recommend creative solutions.
  • Exceptional organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage several complex partnerships and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Sound judgment and resilience when navigating ambiguity, escalations, and challenging partner situations.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and highly accountable approach to achieving partnership outcomes.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Ability to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs require it.

  • Expected starting salary: $84,900–$120,000, with the broader stated salary range extending to approximately $127,400 depending on qualifications, experience, location, business needs, and internal equity.
