ROLE OVERVIEW:
As a Junior Recruiter at BOWA Construction, you will play a vital role in supporting our recruitment efforts. This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of recruitment experience who is eager to contribute to our growing team. You will assist in tracking recruitment needs, sourcing candidates, and managing communication with both candidates and hiring managers. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in recruitment and grow within our Human Resources department.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment and Candidate Sourcing:

  • Assist in the sourcing and recruitment of candidates for open positions across various departments.
  • Post job openings on relevant job boards, social media, and internal platforms.
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial phone interviews, and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Help maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Identify, source, and recruit candidates for positions ranging from entry-level to executive-level across all business units.

Tracking and Reporting:

  • Support the tracking of recruitment metrics, including time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Track recruitment efforts to ensure compliance with company policies and best practices.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand their hiring needs.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and provide timely feedback to both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Assist in managing communication between candidates, hiring teams, and other stakeholders throughout the hiring process.
  • Provide assistance to the HR team in other tasks not related to recruitment.

Employer Branding and Talent Attraction:

  • Help build and maintain the company’s employer brand by assisting with recruitment marketing strategies.
  • Support efforts to enhance the candidate experience by ensuring a smooth and positive recruitment process.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with a focus on sourcing and candidate management.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to engage effectively with both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple recruitment tasks simultaneously.
  • Recruitment Tools: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and recruitment platforms. Experience with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or others is a plus.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams within the organization.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to proactively address recruitment challenges and find creative solutions.
  • Customer Service: A strong focus on providing a positive candidate experience and fostering strong relationships.
