Job Description

ResponsiveAds Senior UI/UX Design Developer - Creative Tools & AI Integration

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a ResponsiveAds Senior UI/UX Design Developer - Creative Tools & AI Integration based in Canada.

This role sits at the intersection of advanced UI/UX design, front-end engineering, and AI-powered creative workflows, shaping how modern ad creatives are built, managed, and deployed at scale. You will take ownership of the experience layer behind next-generation creative tooling, including AI-driven asset ingestion, design systems, and real-time ad rendering experiences. The position blends product thinking with hands-on implementation, requiring someone equally comfortable designing systems and building them. You will work in a high-trust, lean environment where individual ownership directly influences product direction and user experience. Collaboration is close with engineering, product, and design stakeholders, with fast iteration cycles and strong emphasis on execution quality. This is a role for someone who thrives in complex creative tooling environments and wants to redefine how designers interact with AI-enabled production systems.

Accountabilities
  • Own the end-to-end UX design and front-end implementation of AI-driven creative tools, including preview systems, asset mapping, and live deployment workflows.
  • Design and evolve the asset bridge experience, including layer-to-element mapping, version control, and one-click publishing to live ad environments.
  • Build and refine AI ingestion interfaces for uploading, validating, classifying, and routing AI-generated creative assets into production systems.
  • Design and integrate embedded stock library experiences (e.g., Getty, Adobe Stock) directly within the creative studio environment.
  • Maintain and expand the design system across CS4, ensuring consistency in components, interaction patterns, and visual language.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate user feedback into specs, prototypes, and prioritized roadmap features.
  • Conduct usability testing with designers, agencies, and power users to validate workflows before engineering investment.
  • Act as the internal advocate for designer-centric experience decisions across the product lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design for SaaS, creative tools, or complex digital product environments.
  • 5+ years of front-end development experience using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with the ability to translate designs into working interfaces.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud tools (Photoshop, After Effects) and understanding of real-world design workflows.
  • Experience designing or working with asset management systems, media libraries, or creative production pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Figma for design systems, prototyping, and component-based workflows.
  • Working knowledge of Svelte and comfort contributing UI components to production codebases.
  • Familiarity with AI creative tools (e.g., Runway, Firefly, Midjourney, Claude-based design workflows) in production contexts.
  • Understanding of REST APIs and cross-system data flows in modern web applications.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both visual design thinking and technical execution from concept to implementation.
  • Proven ability to own end-to-end product design delivery in fast-paced, startup or lean team environments.
  • Strong communication skills, with a product mindset and a passion for building intuitive, high-performance creative systems.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience and impact.
  • Fully remote-first work environment with flexible hours and strong work-life balance.
  • Generous paid time off and flexible vacation policies.
  • Merit-based compensation growth and performance-driven pay increases.
  • Learning and development support, including access to educational courses and training opportunities.
  • Parental and family leave support through stipend-based programs.
  • Opportunity to work in a profitable, fast-growing company with significant product influence and ownership.
  • Collaborative, low-ego culture focused on creativity, innovation, and meaningful product impact.
  • Long-term stability within a fully remote team with over 6 years of distributed work culture.
