Brief Summary of Duties:
- Process, Repair or part out Apple devices including MacBook’s, iMacs, Mac Mini, Studio, and Pro’s by following established procedures for
- secure data removal, functionality testing, factory resetting, MDM (Mobile Device Management) identification and removal.
- Accurately document processing results, conditional issues, logs, product inventory, and erasure records in EPC’s Inventory Management Software.
- Clean and prepare devices for sale or transfer.
- Client consultation. Diagnoses and troubleshoot hardware failures and software issues. Explain technical issues simply and provide accurate repair quotes.
- Replace broken or faulty screens, batteries, charge ports, cameras, etc.
- Track replacement parts, log work orders, and maintain a clean workstation.
- Handle equipment by packing, unpacking, wrapping, sorting, palletizing, and moving items throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks and carts.
- Maintain strict adherence to data security, quality control, and compliance standards throughout all processing activities.
- Travel in/out of state for special projects when required (optional).
- Other duties as assigned by department.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Working knowledge of smartphone and tablet hardware and software.
- Experience performing small component disassembly and reassembly on electronic devices while maintaining care for sensitive hardware.
- Proficient in the use of precision hand tools, heat pads, heat guns, spudgers, etc. commonly used in electronics repair and device processing.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently while maintaining a proactive and professional approach in a production environment.
- Proficient typing skills and be able to perform constant data entry with accuracy.
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
- Able to collaborate within a team environment, share information, and execute managed direction.
- Possess strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Includes sitting, standing, bending, twisting and the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Apple or WISE Certification.
- Micro soldering or advanced board-level repair.
