This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Workday HCM Consultant in Canada.
This role sits within a fast-growing Workday consulting environment where you will help clients design, implement, and optimize their Human Capital Management solutions. You will work closely with organizations of varying sizes and complexities, translating business requirements into effective Workday configurations that improve HR processes and employee experience. The position combines hands-on functional expertise with client-facing advisory responsibilities in a highly collaborative, remote-friendly setting. You will contribute to full-cycle Workday implementations, from requirements gathering and design through configuration, testing, and deployment. Beyond delivery work, you will also support continuous improvement initiatives and share knowledge within internal teams. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic consulting environment where your expertise directly shapes how clients adopt and maximize Workday solutions.
- Work directly with clients to implement Workday HCM solutions, supporting configurations, deployments, and enhancements across projects of varying complexity.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, design solutions, and support prototyping and testing activities aligned with client HR objectives.
- Define and configure HR processes within Workday to improve efficiency, usability, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Participate in full implementation lifecycle activities, ensuring high-quality delivery and smooth client adoption of Workday solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure successful project execution and consistent communication throughout engagements.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, training sessions, and continuous improvement of consulting practices.
- (For senior profiles) Support project scoping, develop sales materials, and guide junior consultants or teams through delivery and professional development.
- Workday HCM Certification is required.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience implementing Workday HCM configurations for clients of varying size and complexity.
- Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, prototyping, and testing within Workday environments.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and ability to translate business needs into system configurations.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- French language skills considered an asset.
- Strong client-facing experience with the ability to build trust and maintain effective relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate alternatives and propose effective solutions.
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive, customer-centric approach.
- Competitive base salary with potential commission opportunities (CAD 95,000 – 145,000 range depending on experience).
