Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of the new hire onboarding process, including creation of business requirement documents, collection of necessary paperwork, and development of the new hire orientation schedule.
- Communicate orientation details to trainers and managers in advance to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date associate records, including the filing of various employee documentation in the HRIS system.
- Ensure compliance with IATF standards and procedures within the Human Resources department; represent the department during internal and external audits. Demonstrate a working knowledge of HR related KPIs and actively contribute to departmental goals.
- Process all Human Resources related invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor and respond promptly to notifications from the MI unemployment agency; prepare and submit required documentation within specific deadlines.
- Oversee the timely completion of 45- and 90-day performance reviews, signed job descriptions, and training checklists by generating regular reports, assisting managers and associates with reminders, and ensuring closure of the review process in the system.
- Serve as a first point of contact for general HR related inquiries from associates regarding company policies, practices, and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with federal employment regulations by ensuring accurate and current completion of I-9 forms and other required documentation for all employees.
- Collaborate with employee relations teams across various locations to support and execute tasks as needed.
- Provide logistical and administrative support to associates transferring from international locations, including assistance with housing, utilities, transportation, and documentation needed for U.S. residency.
- Coordinate and prepare employee gifts and acknowledgments for events such as new baby, bereavements, and service awards.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including IATF, ISO, ISMS, TISAX, QMS, J-
Sox, and safety-related policies.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant Human Resources, Business or a related field preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Foundational knowledge of federal and state employment laws and compliance requirements
- Solid understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle and hiring best practices
- Proficiency in navigating Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS); experience with data reporting and analysis preferred
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality
- Proven ability to meet deadlines
- Proven ability to interact with sensitivity and professionalism in a multicultural environment
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Proven ability to manage and safeguard confidential and sensitive information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
