The Jack Schmitt Ford Service Pickup and Delivery - Vehicle Transport role is essential in providing exceptional customer service by safely transporting vehicles between customers and the dealership. This position ensures timely and secure pickup and delivery of vehicles requiring service, enhancing the overall customer experience and operational efficiency. The role demands meticulous attention to vehicle condition, adherence to safety protocols, and effective communication with service advisors and customers. By managing logistics and transportation tasks, the employee supports the dealership’s service department in maintaining high standards of reliability and professionalism. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience in vehicle transport or driving roles, preferably within the automotive service industry.
  • Ability to operate various types of vehicles safely and responsibly.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience working in a dealership or automotive retail environment.
  • Familiarity with vehicle inspection and documentation procedures.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge related to vehicle handling and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely pick up and deliver customer vehicles to and from the dealership service department according to scheduled appointments.

  • Maintain clear and timely communication with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle status and delivery times.
  • Operate dealership transport vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and company safety policies.
