Job Description

Senior Creative QA Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Creative QA Specialist based in Canada.

This role defines quality as a core discipline rather than a final step in the creative process. You will be the first dedicated QA specialist, responsible for building structure, consistency, and rigor across all outbound creative work. From copy decks and ad scripts to static and video assets, you will ensure everything meets the highest standards before it reaches clients or advertising platforms. The work sits at the intersection of precision and creativity, where small errors can have major downstream consequences on brand trust and compliance. You will operate across multiple teams, becoming a key point of control in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Over time, you will transform QA from an individual responsibility into a scalable, agency-wide system.

Accountabilities:
  • Own final quality control for all outbound creative assets, including copy, scripts, captions, static ads, and video content before client delivery or publication
  • Ensure full compliance with brand guidelines, platform specifications, and regulatory requirements across all deliverables
  • Build and maintain structured QA systems including checklists, SOPs, review templates, and pre-flight validation processes
  • Develop and manage tiered compliance frameworks for clients, including strict oversight of high-regulation categories such as pet health and supplements
  • Maintain and update claim libraries, approved phrasing banks, and do-not-use lists for key accounts
  • Collaborate closely with creative, strategy, account management, and project management teams to identify and prevent quality issues early
  • Track recurring errors, report trends, and propose workflow improvements to reduce revisions and improve output consistency
  • Support the scaling of QA by helping define future coaching, onboarding, and quality support structures
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in quality assurance, proofreading, compliance, or editorial roles within an agency, regulated industry, or high-volume creative environment
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks relevant to regulated industries such as FDA, FTC, supplements, pet health, or finance
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to evaluate brand consistency across multiple clients simultaneously
  • Solid knowledge of advertising platform requirements across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and related creative formats
  • Demonstrated ability to build structured processes from scratch, including SOPs, checklists, and review systems
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in high-volume environments without compromising accuracy
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative and constructive approach to feedback and issue resolution
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple high-priority accounts in parallel
  • Bonus: experience in copywriting or editorial work, developing tone of voice guidelines, or onboarding junior QA team members
Benefits:
  • Fully remote work with flexibility to operate from anywhere
  • Flexible working hours focused on outcomes rather than fixed schedules
  • Unlimited paid time off and sick leave to support balance and recovery
  • Opportunity to build and define a foundational QA function within a growing organization
  • Exposure to high-profile, tier-one clients and complex creative challenges
  • Strong autonomy with room to shape processes, standards, and long-term QA strategy
  • Collaborative, performance-driven environment with transparent communication and fast decision-making
