  • Act as a liaison between insurance providers, physicians, healthcare professionals, and patients to optimize reimbursement outcomes.
  • Prepare, organize, and submit all necessary documentation, applications, and forms to funding agencies and insurers in a timely manner.
  • Apply financial means testing and other eligibility assessments to maximize patient coverage opportunities.
  • Track reimbursement cases end-to-end, ensuring follow-up, accuracy, and resolution of outstanding issues or requirements.
  • Support pharmacy-related processes once funding approvals are obtained to ensure smooth medication access and fulfillment.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of reimbursement systems, funding mechanisms, and related healthcare programs.
  • Ensure compliance with reporting requirements, including documentation and escalation of adverse events.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, healthcare administration, insurance, or office-based environments.
  • Strong understanding of reimbursement systems, healthcare funding processes, or pharmaceutical/insurance workflows is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with healthcare providers and patients.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet strict deadlines.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or insurance industry is a strong asset.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an advantage.
  • Comfortable working in a structured, compliance-driven environment with regular stakeholder communication.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range: $44,300 – $68,090 CAD
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Paid time off and paid parental leave
  • Family support benefits, including caregiver and dependent care assistance
