This role sits within a post-production Workday AMS environment, focusing on the ongoing optimization, redesign, and enhancement of Workday Benefits solutions for a diverse client base. You will act as a trusted expert, helping organizations get more value from their existing Workday systems by resolving complex configuration issues and improving overall system performance. The position involves working across multiple clients and industries, requiring agility, depth of expertise, and strong consulting capability. You will lead redesign initiatives, support Phase X enhancements, and ensure clients fully leverage new Workday Benefits functionality. This is a highly hands-on and advisory role where technical problem-solving meets strategic consulting. It is ideal for someone who enjoys deep system work, variety, and delivering measurable improvements in live enterprise environments.
- Audit, optimize, and redesign existing Workday Benefits configurations to improve accuracy, usability, and performance.
- Lead Phase X implementations and enhancements for Workday Benefits across existing client tenants.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, including calculation errors, eligibility rules, and accrual configurations.
- Guide clients through Workday semi-annual releases, ensuring effective adoption of new Benefits features.
- Provide expert advisory support to clients, translating business needs into scalable Workday solutions.
- Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously within an AMS/post-production environment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure system changes align with business goals and compliance requirements.
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday Benefits configuration in a live, post-production or AMS environment.
- Proven ability to design, troubleshoot, and optimize complex Workday Benefits solutions.
- Experience supporting multiple clients or projects in parallel across different industries.
- Strong consultative mindset with the ability to explain technical solutions and business impact clearly.
- Ability to assess existing systems and define scalable, future-ready design improvements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in client-facing environments.
