This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Strategic Alliance Director based in the United States.
The Strategic Alliance Director will lead new business growth and strategic client development within the cybersecurity services market.
This is a high-impact, hunter-oriented role focused on acquiring enterprise customers and building a strong, sustainable sales pipeline.
You will engage directly with CISOs, CIOs, and senior technology leaders to understand complex security challenges and develop tailored solutions.
The role combines consultative selling with expertise across managed security, professional services, risk advisory, staff augmentation, and vCISO engagements.
You will leverage industry relationships, strategic partnerships, and executive-level networking to open doors and accelerate opportunities.
Success requires an entrepreneurial mindset, strong cybersecurity knowledge, and a proven ability to close complex, high-value enterprise deals.
This is a remote position for candidates in the Eastern or Central United States, with relocation to Tampa, Florida preferred.
- Drive new-logo acquisition and generate qualified pipeline opportunities within mid-market and enterprise organizations.
- Identify, prospect, qualify, and convert high-value cybersecurity services opportunities through a proactive hunter approach.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with CISOs, CIOs, IT executives, security leaders, and other senior decision-makers.
- Conduct consultative discovery conversations to understand clients’ business, security, operational, and risk challenges.
- Design and co-create customized cybersecurity service solutions aligned with client objectives, including risk advisory, vCISO engagements, managed services, professional services, staff augmentation, SOC/NOC optimization, and security outsourcing.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting and relationship development through solution design, negotiation, and contract close.
- Leverage established technology and industry partnerships as strategic accelerators for pipeline generation and business development.
- Represent the organization at cybersecurity conferences, industry events, CISO roundtables, and executive meetings to strengthen market visibility and create new opportunities.
- Develop a deep understanding of the evolving cybersecurity landscape and translate emerging technologies and services into compelling business value for prospective customers.
- Maintain ownership of the sales pipeline, forecast accurately, and consistently work toward and exceed revenue and business-development targets.
- Build long-term customer relationships that support account expansion, recurring revenue, and continued business growth.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and closing high-value, complex deals in enterprise environments.
- Significant experience selling cybersecurity services, particularly risk advisory, managed security services, professional services, security outsourcing, or staff augmentation.
- Experience with services and solutions such as MDR, EDR, SIEM, vCISO, SOC/NOC optimization, or related cybersecurity offerings.
- Established relationships and an existing professional network among CISOs, CIOs, security executives, IT leaders, and other cybersecurity decision-makers.
- Demonstrated success in a new-business or hunter role, including the ability to build pipeline and develop opportunities in new or untapped markets.
- Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to uncover customer challenges, ask effective discovery questions, and develop customized solutions.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a high degree of ownership, autonomy, energy, and persistence.
- Strong understanding of enterprise cybersecurity challenges and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and business audiences.
- Excellent executive-level communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex opportunities while maintaining disciplined pipeline management and consistent follow-through.
- Experience selling to enterprise healthcare organizations is a plus.
- Willingness to work remotely from the Eastern or Central United States.
- Relocation to Tampa, Florida is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings, industry events, conferences, and executive engagements.
