Regional Sales Director

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Regional Sales Director based in United States.

The Regional Sales Director will lead regional sales growth by developing strategies, building strong customer relationships, and driving measurable business results.
This role combines strategic leadership, team development, and data-driven sales execution within a mission-focused and technology-enabled environment.
The successful candidate will oversee sales performance, coach high-performing teams, and create scalable approaches to expanding market opportunities.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, this leader will influence business outcomes by aligning sales initiatives with operational priorities and customer needs.
The position requires a growth-oriented mindset, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to navigate complex markets with confidence.

Accountabilities:

The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for leading regional revenue growth, managing sales execution, and creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive regional sales strategies to achieve revenue objectives and exceed sales targets.
  • Take ownership of regional performance outcomes through data-driven planning, forecasting, and performance management.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team by providing coaching, guidance, and clear expectations.
  • Build a culture focused on growth, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Navigate market complexity and organizational change while maintaining alignment with business goals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and adjust sales strategies.
  • Manage and maintain a strong sales pipeline to ensure predictable revenue generation.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, performance updates, and strategic insights to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Customer Success, and other teams to remove barriers and accelerate results.
  • Influence outcomes across departments by building strong partnerships beyond direct reporting structures.
  • Drive adoption of structured sales processes, CRM best practices, and performance measurement frameworks.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced sales leader with a proven ability to build successful teams, deliver revenue growth, and manage complex sales environments.

  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams with a focus on accountability and professional growth.
  • Demonstrated success achieving and exceeding sales targets through structured strategies and sales processes.
  • 5+ years of sales leadership and team management experience.
  • Strong ability to manage ambiguity, navigate complexity, and lead teams through change.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and make strategic decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience using CRM platforms, with Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Strong track record of building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% within the United States.
  • Preferred proximity to a major airport in areas such as New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Atlanta, or Charlotte.
