Unique Skills:

This position is responsible for advanced design, implementation, and lifecycle management of enterprise security technology solutions. The incumbent must possess deep technical expertise in the installation, configuration, and ongoing management of security system components, with particular emphasis on Lenel OnGuard access control systems and Milestone Video Management Systems (VMS).

This is a senior-level role requiring a high degree of technical proficiency and independent judgment. The successful candidate will be expected to design and support comprehensive security technology packages for new construction and renovation projects, ensuring alignment with organizational security standards, operational requirements, and industry best practices.
Related experience refers to work with physical security technology or infrastructure.

Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 4 years related experience within Security, Law Enforcement, or Emergency Management. Position Purpose:Under minimal supervision, the Global Security Specialist Senior is responsible for supporting Global Security management and security personnel at all company sites/events in support of company security initiatives. Collects evidence, conducts interviews, and prepares investigative reports that substantiate findings on enterprise wide assignments and risk assessment. Provides assistance and to lower level Specialists throughout the organization.
Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:
  1. Able to represent Gulfstream as member of US Government sanctioned/Law Enforcement working groups.
  2. Performs OPSEC and Physical Security assessments, surveys and exercises at all Gulfstream facilities.
  3. Prepares accurate, impartial and complete reports in a timely manner.
  4. Coordinates with appropriate business unit, law enforcement, or other relevant entities to minimize risk vulnerability.
  5. Coordinates with appropriate personnel to obtain/create timely written risk assessments for international events as assigned and ensures personnel are aware of upcoming events and staff requirements are known in advance.
  6. Develops and delivers innovative employee communication and training programs related to global security.
  7. Ensure security compliance and auditing is properly performed for per global security directives.
  8. Performs in depth security assessments gauging the effectiveness of existing security systems and programs.
  9. Conducts in depth analysis, review and formal audits on facility security program to ensure compliance with applicable local and federal regulations as well as internal corporate policies.
  10. Understands and operates within Department of Defense (DOD), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and corporate policies in providing sensitive government aircraft security and plant protection services.
  11. Provides direction to site security management team to ensure compliance with established corporate policies in order to maintain continuity of operations.
Additional Functions:
  1. Represents Gulfstream in a professional and positive manner in all venues, including industry-related events, conferences and conventions. .
  2. Familiar with the ITAR, EAR and other federal government regulation regarding export laws and State Department licensing as well as regulation regarding foreign nationals both as employees and visitors, i.e. Technology Control Plans; public release of information. .
Perform other duties as assigned.Other Requirements:
  1. Demonstrated advanced computer knowledge.
  2. Proven experience working with local, state and federal law enforcement organizations.
  3. Additional Certifications may be required. based on area of responsibility.
This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
