Reports to: Operations Manager

Employment: Full-Time

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Stasis Drilling Solutions, LLC is a privately held oilfield services (OFS) provider headquartered in in Houston, TX with operations throughout the lower 48 of the United States.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the accurate receipt, inspection, storage, packaging, and shipment of materials, equipment, and inventory. This position helps ensure inventory accuracy, supports field operations through timely fulfillment of material requests, and maintains shipping and receiving documentation in accordance with company procedures. The role works closely with Operations, Service, Purchasing, and Logistics to ensure materials move efficiently throughout the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Inspect incoming materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
  • Process incoming and outgoing shipments using company shipping systems and carrier platforms.
  • Prepare equipment, tools, and materials for shipment to field locations and customers.
  • Package shipments to ensure safe transportation and compliance with carrier requirements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and complete inventory transactions within company systems.
  • Label, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
  • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
  • Coordinate freight pickups and deliveries with approved carriers.
  • Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Support Operations and Service teams by staging materials for upcoming jobs.
  • Assist with warehouse organization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other warehouse, logistics, and administrative duties as assigned.
  • Provide after-hours support as needed, including responding to urgent shipping, receiving, inventory, or operational call-outs to support business and field operations.

METRIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Accuracy of receiving and shipping documentation.
  • Inventory accuracy and cycle count results.
  • On-time shipment preparation and delivery.
  • Timely processing of incoming materials.
  • Reduction of shipping and inventory discrepancies.
  • Warehouse organization and housekeeping standards.
  • Compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Responsiveness to internal customers and field operations.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent work experience may be substituted for formal education.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Minimum of two (2) years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, or logistics experience.
  • Experience using inventory management software; experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to accurately complete shipping and receiving documentation.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment or obtain certification after hire.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Three or more years of warehouse or shipping/receiving experience.
  • Experience in oilfield services, manufacturing, or industrial operations.
  • Experience with freight carriers and shipping software.
  • Knowledge of inventory control best practices.
  • Experience with cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Experience with NetSuite or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Physical ability to:
  • Frequently stand and walk throughout the workday.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Bend, kneel, squat, reach, push, and pull materials.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Climb ladders as necessary to access stored materials.
  • Safely handle tools, equipment, and packaged materials.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimal travel required (< 5%)
  • Occasional travel to other company locations may be required.
