Looking for your first HR role or ready to build on your recruiting or People experience? This is an opportunity to jump into the fast-paced world of HR during our busiest season, where you'll gain hands-on experience across recruiting, onboarding, payroll, employee support, and HR operations.
We're hiring multiple Seasonal HR Associates to join our People Team. If you're organized, love working with people, enjoy solving problems, and can keep up when things get busy, we'd love to meet you.
Location: Brooklyn Army Terminal, Sunset Park, Brooklyn
Pay: $22/hour
Schedule: Full-time, on-site through December 2026
What You’ll Do
Every day is a little different, but you can expect to:
- Recruit and interview candidates for seasonal positions
- Schedule interviews and coordinate hiring logistics across a seven-day operation
- Welcome new hires through onboarding and orientation
- Answer questions and support team members throughout their employment
- Process onboarding paperwork and HR transactions accurately
- Assist with weekly payroll and attendance tracking
- Maintain HR records and hiring data
- Work closely with managers to keep hiring moving during our busiest time of year
You’ll Be Successful if You
- Have an interest in building a career in Human Resources
- Have previous HR, recruiting, customer service, retail leadership, administrative, or other people-facing experience
- Stay organized even when priorities change quickly
- Enjoy talking with people and making them feel welcome
- Can balance empathy with getting things done
- Are comfortable learning new systems and technology
- Have working knowledge of Excel (or are eager to learn more)
- Can work full-time, on-site, with occasional weekends and extended hours during peak season
Bonus if you speak Spanish, French, or Creole.
