Position Overview: We are seeking an Account Manager to support Producers by managing a book of business and delivering exceptional client service. This role serves as a key liaison between clients, carriers, and internal teams, ensuring policies are accurate, coverage needs are met, and service requests are handled efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled at building strong client relationships.

Work Arrangement: This is a full-time hybrid position reporting to our office located in Southport, NC.

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, providing responsive and knowledgeable client service.
  • Manage the full policy lifecycle, including quoting, binding, renewals, endorsements, and policy updates.
  • Review coverage needs, identify gaps, and recommend appropriate solutions to enhance client protection.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, carriers, and underwriters to resolve service issues, billing inquiries, and coverage questions.
  • Prepare and submit renewal applications, proposals, and supporting documentation to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Monitor renewal and new business activity to maintain continuous coverage and ensure timely premium payments.
  • Support claims reporting and provide ongoing follow-up to ensure resolution and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation within agency management systems and CRM platforms.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer service, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license required.
  • Experience with commercial and/or personal lines insurance products and underwriting principles preferred.
  • Proficiency with agency management systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High level of professionalism with a commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, or a related field preferred.
