We are currently seeking an experienced:

PROVIDER RELATIONS SPECIALIST

Full Time, Days

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Creates and distributes financial reviews for LMA LMA-participating SNFs and Providers
  • Investigates, resolves, and communicates Provider questions, issues, and/or changes.
  • Implements procedures and instructions based on Medicare guidelines for LMA providers
  • Act as the primary liaison between key departments within LMA to establish meetings with LMA SNFs.
  • Supports development and management of provider networks
  • Responsible for maintaining and reporting enrollments/dis-enrollments to the key players within LMA and Liberty
  • Compiles and Distributes monthly roster reports to appropriate personnel

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years Medicare/Medicaid experience
  • A minimum of 3 years nursing home experience
  • A minimum of 3 years provider relations and/or provider network experience
  • Knowledge of 1500 and UBO4’s
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
  • Must be willing and able to travel extensively within North Carolina
  • Active Health & Life Insurance license preferred
  • Ability to support growth via multiple lines of communications using various platforms. Working together with both operations staff as well as sales.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing materials used in the field to promote plan growth.
  • Medicare Advantage experience preferred or other relevant healthcare products.
  • Must have valid state driver's license and auto insurance
  • Must reside in North Carolina or be willing to relocate to the area
  • Willing and able to travel to complete mailings, ordering of supplies, print shop pickups, occasional sales presentation setups.
  • Working knowledge of relevant federal and state regulations and requirements
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to show compassion.
  • Thorough knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Health Care Industry, and Provider Network
  • Able to multitask and prioritize work while maintaining a professional and positive attitude
  • Creative problem solver with solid organization and analytical skills
