We are currently seeking an experienced:
PROVIDER RELATIONS SPECIALIST
Full Time, Days
JOB SUMMARY:
- Creates and distributes financial reviews for LMA LMA-participating SNFs and Providers
- Investigates, resolves, and communicates Provider questions, issues, and/or changes.
- Implements procedures and instructions based on Medicare guidelines for LMA providers
- Act as the primary liaison between key departments within LMA to establish meetings with LMA SNFs.
- Supports development and management of provider networks
- Responsible for maintaining and reporting enrollments/dis-enrollments to the key players within LMA and Liberty
- Compiles and Distributes monthly roster reports to appropriate personnel
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- A minimum of 3 years Medicare/Medicaid experience
- A minimum of 3 years nursing home experience
- A minimum of 3 years provider relations and/or provider network experience
- Knowledge of 1500 and UBO4’s
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
- Must be willing and able to travel extensively within North Carolina
- Active Health & Life Insurance license preferred
- Ability to support growth via multiple lines of communications using various platforms. Working together with both operations staff as well as sales.
- Knowledge of sales and marketing materials used in the field to promote plan growth.
- Medicare Advantage experience preferred or other relevant healthcare products.
- Must have valid state driver's license and auto insurance
- Must reside in North Carolina or be willing to relocate to the area
- Willing and able to travel to complete mailings, ordering of supplies, print shop pickups, occasional sales presentation setups.
- Working knowledge of relevant federal and state regulations and requirements
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to show compassion.
- Thorough knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Health Care Industry, and Provider Network
- Able to multitask and prioritize work while maintaining a professional and positive attitude
- Creative problem solver with solid organization and analytical skills
