RN Charge at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

Willis Knighton North is currently seeking a Robotic Charge Nurse for our surgical department. An unencumbered Louisiana license is required in addition to current surgical experience. Applicants with charge nurse and /or general robotic experience is required, BSN preferred. Your job responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: participation in call rotation, circulating, scrubbing, monitoring sterile field, chart audits, creating and updating preference cards, mentoring staff, arranging in-services as needed, inventory control and reduction, medication administration, surgical preparation, instrument counts, and documentation. This position also requires collaboration with the Physician Robotic Director to maintain credentials for Robotic Center of Excellence Accreditation.An orientation will be provided based on your experience and level of comfort.
