RN Coordinator at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

John C. McDonald Regional Transplant Center is seeking an RN to fill a coordinator position in our Transplant Clinic. As the post-kidney Transplant Coordinator, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: provide advanced nursing care for patients after solid organ transplantation, assessing general health status, determining additional assessment or intervention, and facilitating the scheduling of procedures for diagnostic purposes. Assists in routine patient calls regarding patient care. Recognize potential problems, abnormal diagnostic findings, and/or significant changes during the post-operative period. Maintain routine health maintenance and surveillance during the post-operative period.

The individual selected for this position must possess a valid Louisiana license to practice professional nursing and at least 1 year of professional nursing experience. Critical care and/or transplant experience is preferred but is not required for this position.
