Barback in Chesterfield, Missouri at CarShield Sportsplex

The CarShield Sportsplex is seeking energetic and dependable Barbacks to support the Overtime Bar and Grill. Barbacks keep service moving by ensuring bartenders have the ice, glassware, beverages, garnishes, and supplies they need during games, leagues, tournaments, and special events. This is a hands-on role for someone who works quickly, notices what needs to be done, and enjoys being part of a busy team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Stock and restock beer, wine, spirits, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other supplies before and throughout each shift.
• Keep ice bins filled and ensure clean, polished glassware is readily available to bartenders.
• Change kegs and CO2 tanks safely and rotate products according to date and inventory procedures.
• Clear empty bottles, glassware, dishes, and trash from the bar and surrounding guest areas.
• Clean and sanitize bar tops, wells, coolers, equipment, floors, and service areas.
• Move stock between storage areas, the Overtime Bar and Grill, and concession locations as needed.
• Receive and put away deliveries and assist with inventory counts and product organization.
• Anticipate bartender needs and respond quickly during game-day rushes and special events.
• Follow responsible alcohol-service, food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety standards.
• Assist with opening, closing, and other assigned duties.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working in a loud, fast-paced sports environment.
• Ability to work quickly, follow directions, and communicate effectively with bartenders and other team members.
• Ability to stand and move for a full shift and lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, tournaments, holidays, and special events as scheduled.
• Prior bar, restaurant, concessions, warehouse, or stocking experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to the right candidate.
