Bartender in Chesterfield, Missouri at CarShield Sportsplex

The CarShield Sportsplex is seeking personable and energetic Bartenders to serve guests at the Overtime Bar and Grill. Bartenders will prepare drinks accurately, process orders and payments, maintain a clean and organized bar, and create a welcoming experience for guests between games. The ideal candidate combines strong bartending fundamentals with a team-first attitude and excellent judgment in a high-volume sports environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly, answer menu questions, and recommend food and beverage options.
• Prepare cocktails, pour beer and wine, and serve non-alcoholic beverages using consistent recipes and accurate pours.
• Take and enter food and beverage orders accurately and coordinate with the kitchen and service team.
• Serve food and drinks courteously and promptly while monitoring guest satisfaction.
• Present checks, make correct change, and process cash and card transactions accurately through the point-of-sale system.
• Verify identification and follow all responsible alcohol-service laws, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor guest behavior and escalate alcohol-service or safety concerns appropriately.
• Keep the bar stocked, clean, organized, and ready for service throughout each shift.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to questions, requests, and concerns.
• Collaborate with servers, barbacks, food runners, cooks, and managers to provide a consistent guest experience.
• Report waste, breakage, shortages, and inventory concerns to management.
• Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and other assigned duties.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Previous bartending experience and working knowledge of common drink recipes and bartending fundamentals.
• Ability to meet applicable local and state alcohol-service requirements; responsible beverage service certification is preferred.
• Strong guest-service, verbal communication, basic math, and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to use a point-of-sale system accurately; experience with Toast is preferred.
• Ability to remain attentive, organized, and professional during high-volume service.
• Team-first attitude and willingness to assist throughout the restaurant as needed.
• Ability to stand and move for a full shift and lift or carry up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, tournaments, holidays, and special events as scheduled.
