We're growing! We’re looking for passionate, driven, and energetic candidates to join our Sustainability team for the position of Sustainability Analyst located at our office in Guelph, Ontario.
Compensation: Starting at $75,000.00 annually plus bonus.
As a Sustainability Analyst, you will support the Energy Manager and Director of Optimization & Sustainability in Skyline’s environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and corporate governance initiatives. You will contribute to programs and policies that improve energy and water efficiency, strengthen environmental stewardship and divert waste, while helping Skyline create meaningful value and an exceptional experience for our customers, our people, and our communities.

As a Sustainability Analyst, you will support the Energy Manager and Director of Optimization & Sustainability in Skyline’s environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and corporate governance initiatives. You will contribute to programs and policies that improve energy and water efficiency, strengthen environmental stewardship and divert waste, while helping Skyline create meaningful value and an exceptional experience for our customers, our people, and our communities.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting energy, water, waste diversion, biodiversity, and clean energy programs and projects across Skyline’s portfolio.
- Collecting, managing, analyzing, and reporting energy, water, and waste performance data, including regulatory reporting and year-over-year tracking.
- Monitoring environmental and energy strategies, targets, emerging issues, regulations, and public attitudes, and reporting on Skyline’s progress.
- Supporting annual sustainability planning, data collection, analysis, content development, and preparation of Skyline’s sustainability strategy and report.
- Developing standard operating procedures and methodologies that support Skyline’s social, environmental, and governance strategies and evaluate the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives.
- Assessing climate-related risks and opportunities and contributing to strategies that mitigate long-term impacts on Skyline’s assets.
- Identifying incentives, grants, and financing opportunities; developing business cases; supporting the Environmental Management System and EV charger program; and assisting with company-wide sustainability initiatives and Sustainability Taskforce meetings.
- Strong knowledge of the energy and water sectors, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and current sustainability practices.
- Strong working knowledge with Microsoft applications.
- Ability to research, organize, analyze, audit, and interpret large amounts of operational and financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, collaboration, and stakeholder partnership skills.
- Good judgment, initiative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team, meet deadlines, and make informed recommendations.
- Post-secondary education in environmental studies, sustainability, engineering, or an equivalent field.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience and/or education that has provided comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities.

- You’re curious, forward-thinking, and eager to explore new possibilities in sustainability.
