What is the purpose of this role?
DOOR is seeking a highly detail-oriented and hands-on Senior Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of the business. This role will play a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the monthly close process, preparing reconciliations, and ensuring financial data is complete and reliable.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys being deeply involved in the operational side of accounting, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can independently manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and organization. This position will partner closely with the Controller and broader Finance team to support the continued growth and operational efficiency of DOOR.
What is the role?
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations and assisting with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. This role will own key balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting support, and accounting analyses while helping ensure compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
This is a highly hands-on accounting role focused on execution, accuracy, and operational support across several accounting functions. The Senior Accountant will work cross-functionally with teams including FP&A, Operations, Revenue, and Accounts Payable to ensure transactions are properly recorded and financial processes run smoothly.

What will you do?
General Accounting & Financial Operations
Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reportingPrepare and post journal entries for month-end close activitiesOwn assigned balance sheet accounts, including complex reconciliations and variance analysis Manage internally-developed software capitalization process (ASC 350-40)Assist with maintaining the general ledger and ensuring financial data integrityPrepare variance analyses and supporting schedules for management reviewSupport accounting for prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accruals, inventory, cash, and intercompany transactionsAssist with expense tracking, account analysis, and transaction researchEnsure accounting records comply with US GAAP and company accounting policiesPrepare audit schedules and support internal and external audit requestsAssist with the preparation of external SEC reporting including tie-outs of the reportsSupport banking activities, cash reporting, and treasury-related tasksHelp improve accounting processes and identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiencyMaintain organized documentation and support process standardization across accounting workflows.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with teams across Finance, Operations, Revenue, and Accounts Payable to ensure accurate financial reportingAssist with resolving accounting discrepancies and operational issuesSupport ad hoc financial reporting and accounting projects as neededParticipate in system and process improvement initiatives within NetSuite and other financial toolsWhat do you bring to DOOR?
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance5+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting Experience supporting month-end and year-end close processesExperience preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliationsStrong Excel skills and experience working within ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)High attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently while also collaborating cross-functionallyPreferred Qualifications
