Overview

Scantron is seeking a Solutions Architect to support our Digital and Scanner Software portfolio and enable our sales, marketing, and product teams. This role blends technical expertise, customer facing skills, and strategic product knowledge to ensure our solutions are positioned effectively and delivered seamlessly. The ideal candidate is a problems solver who can translate complex technology into clear value for clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Product and Sales Solution Demonstrations

  • Partner closely with Solution Sales Consultants to deliver compelling, technically accurate product demonstrations.
  • Present Digital and Scanner Software solutions with a strong understanding of integration requirements, data flows, and system compatibility.
  • Identify customer needs and translate them into solution recommendations and technical guidance.
  • Support pre‑sales discovery, addressing technical questions and ensuring smooth handoff to implementation teams.
  • Work with 3rd party partners on product feedback, escalations, and product releases and enhancements to inform internal and external stakeholders

HubSpot Reporting & Sales Analytics

  • Pull, analyze, and interpret HubSpot dashboards and reporting data to identify trends in deals, win/loss patterns, and pipeline performance.
  • Deliver insights and recommendations that help shape sales strategy and enablement initiatives.
  • Build recurring and ad‑hoc reports to support leadership visibility into funnel health and conversion metrics.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for HubSpot reporting best practices across the sales organization.

Product Portfolio Management & Marketing Enablement

  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop product documentation, implementation materials, customer facing collateral, sales enablement, and go-to-market content.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Scantron product ecosystem, including how digital tools, scanners, and software solutions integrate and complement one another.
  • Provide input to leadership regarding product gaps, feature opportunities, and customer feedback trends.
  • Support cross functional teams in shaping product strategy and roadmap alignment.
  • Lead and/or provide project management for RFP submissions
  • Website development and maintenance as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years experience in solutions architecture, sales engineering, product enablement, or technical consulting.
  • Experience with CRM systems; HubSpot reporting expertise strongly preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude, with ability to understand software integrations, APIs, workflows, and data requirements.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with comfort engaging both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
  • Experience working cross functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
